Did you know smoothies aren't just for breakfast! I do love a big smoothie bowl in the mornings or in fact anytime but I didn't realise you could have them a few hours before bed to help you sleep.

This is my go-to smoothie even the hubby and kids love it especially when they have pre-bedtime munchie.  Which at the moment feels like every ten minutes.

I thought I would share with you one of my favourite recipes. ⁠

Oaty Snoozy Smoothie Recipe

  • 50g gluten-free oats ⁠
  • 1/4 tsp of flax seeds⁠ (you can go up to a 1 tsp)
  • 1 chopped banana⁠
  • 1/2 tsp honey⁠
  • 120-200ml Milk alternative I generally go for almond milk⁠

The thickness of the smoothie will depend on how much milk you add.⁠  I love a thick smoothie personally but you make it work for you.
